TERMINAL HEADS
PITCO can supply assembled elements for practically all apllications.
Complete assemblies are formed by the sensing element: thermocouple or resistance type temperature sensor, insulating block with terminals, terminal connection head, extension nipple with or without union and protecting well.
Terminal heads are used to both enclose terminations between incoming instrumentation cables with the sensor and to house Head Mounted transmitters. This component can be selected from a range of materials and a number of cable entries:
- Cast iron waterproof type
- Aluminium alloy explosion proof type
- Aluminium miniature type
- Jack and plug type
- Connector military type
Model selection
- Model 2TA-89: Waterproof terminal head, screw cover type. Galvanized or vernished cast iron.
- Model 2SC-89: Ex-d explosion proof and water tight terminal head, screw cover type with locking screw.
- Model 2SC-90: Ex-d explosion-proof and waterproof.
- Model 2TA-90: Wheatherproof miniature head made from barstock aluminium alloy. Insulating block with terminals for single or double element.
- Model 2TA-91: Thermocouple quick-connect plug and jack with T/C matched prongs insert.
- Model "SC-91: T/C's or RTD's military type waterproof connector for single or multiple element. Sensing element connections according to applications.
Accessories
PITCO can supply all T/C's and RTD's accessories such as unions, nipples, compression fittings and special fittings for specific applications.
Extension cables
Thermocouples extension wires and special instrument signal clables can be supplied. Single or multipair, standard, shielded or armoured construction with different kinds of insulation.
